From mathematical structure to physical systems
I studied Applied Mathematics and Physics at UABC in Baja California, then dynamical systems and stability at CIMAT. Doctoral work at Kyushu University brought those foundations into fluid mechanics, turbulent jets, and atomization. Later research in Japan and Mexico expanded the same habit of thought into multiphase computation, biomedical modeling, industrial mathematics, and scientific software.

Research others can build on
Teaching and mentoring are part of how I work. A model becomes more useful when a student, collaborator, or technical partner can follow its equations, assumptions, data, code, and visual results—and then extend it.

Mexico, Japan, and multilingual collaboration
My academic trajectory connects Mexico and Japan, and I work in Spanish, English, and Japanese. On 1 April 2026, I began a Visiting Researcher appointment at the Institute of Mathematics for Industry, Kyushu University, focused on evaporating-surface stability and improved models for evaporating jets. That experience shapes how I frame technical questions and communicate across disciplines.
